Michele Cusimano-Stirone
Owner & Director, Meadowlands Starz Cheer

Michele Cusimano-Stirone is the proud Owner, Director, and Founder of Meadowlands Starz Cheer. With over 30 years of combined experience in the cheerleading industry, Michele has worn many hats—athlete, coach, business owner, and mentor. Her cheerleading journey includes owning the successful competition cheer company Ultimate Cheer & Dance and coaching athletes across a wide range of programs including Catholic schools, recreational leagues, and competitive all-star teams.

Deeply committed to community involvement, Michele has spent over 18 years working closely with youth in her area. In 2014, she was honored to serve as the Recreation Director for her town—a position appointed by the Mayor—where she dedicated her time to expanding youth engagement and programming.

Michele also serves as a Project Manager at a leading firm. Her professional background enhances her ability to manage the fast-paced, high-energy environment of a cheer program with precision and care.

Michele’s vision for Meadowlands Starz has always been to create a safe, encouraging, and inspiring environment where athletes feel like they are part of a second family. She works closely with each athlete to support their growth and help them reach their fullest potential—regardless of where they start.

Outside of the gym, Michele’s greatest joy is her family. She is the proud mother of two children: Christopher (23) and Gianna (21). In her free time, she enjoys making memories with her loved ones and close family friends.
